Laura was born on Hilton Head and raised on the sandy beaches and salty air. As career and life guided her away from the Lowcountry, her family remained on the Island and she kept her ties to this special place.
As luck would have it on the other side of the Atlantic was David, who was also raised on sand and salty air, though on the coast of England.
The “stars aligned” as they say, and we were married on the beach not far from our villa. After starting a family of our own, we realized that Hilton Head was a very special place for both of us, and that we wanted to have a place of our own, close to our family on the island, and for our small family to begin to make memories.

For us Palmetto Dunes has a great lifestyle, that allows you to walk and bike to so many places. It is also centrally located so that you can easily explore the rest of the island without much of a drive at all!

This villa has such a great layout – top floor, pool view, yet very private. The floor plan is great for families as the bedrooms are separated, yet everyone can come together easily in the living room.
The location is also hard to beat! Palmetto Dunes (the community where the villa is located) has so many wonderful amenities. For starters, the Dunes House is only steps away and is a great place to grab a bite to eat, all while sitting on the beach and looking out at the ocean! You can play golf, tennis, ride your bikes around the many bike paths, kayak the 11 mile lagoon system, fish, paddle board, and more all from within Palmetto Dunes.
